A global P&C insurance carrier is looking to hire a Claims Manager – Casualty / Commercial General Liability Claims. In this leadership role you will manage a team of 7 GL Examiners and drive technical & operational performance. Along with this you will provide litigation and coverage advice on complex CGL / major loss claims.
- 5+ years managing a casualty / commercial general liability claims team with the ability to drive strategy and performance
- Experience growing a claims team and driving operational efficiency
- Extensive technical experience within CGL claims including premise liability, product liability and other BI
- Extensive coverage and litigation experience within these lines of business
- Direct experience handling complex CGL losses above $100,000 through to large loss limits
- Bachelors Degree and Adjuster License in multiple states
This role is on a hybrid schedule from NYC, NJ, CT, PA, GA or IL (3 days office 2 days remote), with a competitive base salary up to $170,000 + 10% annual bonus. The role also offers excellent benefits and a route of progression into senior leadership.
