Overview
Reporting to senior financial leadership, this role supports enterprise-wide financial reporting and accounting functions, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, timeliness, compliance, and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities

Support preparation, maintenance, and integrity of the general ledger and financial management reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, reconciliations, and management reports.

Ensure accounting transactions and financial reporting comply with GAAP/FASB standards and established internal controls to mitigate risk and protect organizational assets.

Maintain and reconcile asset and liability accounts, ensuring proper accounting methodologies, policies, and documentation.

Support federal, state, and local tax reporting and compliance requirements.

Partner with operational and finance stakeholders to improve accounting processes, procedures, and reporting accuracy and timeliness.

Lead, train, and develop team members, providing ongoing feedback and fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment.

Contribute to strategic initiatives including consolidations, cash and accounts receivable, fixed and leased assets, liabilities and debt, payroll and benefits, and special projects/process improvement efforts.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum of six years of progressive accounting or financial reporting experience, including people management.

Experience in complex, regulated environments preferred (e.g., healthcare, higher education, or nonprofit).

CPA and experience with financial analysis, revenue cycle, or business planning preferred.
