Data Migration Expert – Contract – Global Transformation – Zurich
We’re looking for a Data Migration Expert to support a large-scale global transformation project. This is a contract role, not permanent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead planning, scoping, and execution of large-scale data migrations
- Develop migration strategy, roadmap, and governance framework
- Conduct discovery, system analysis, and dependencies mapping
- Ensure data integrity, validation, and regulatory compliance
- Coordinate business and technical stakeholders across multiple waves and teams
- Document migration inventories, gap analyses, and readiness assessments
- Ensure end-to-end traceability between source and target datasets
Requirements:
- Proven experience leading complex, large-scale data migrations (5-8+ years)
- Strong understanding of migration methodologies, frameworks, and tooling
- Experience with complex datasets, legacy system analysis, and dependency mapping
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Hands-on, structured, and able to operate in cross-functional environments
- Experience in (Re)insurance is strongly preferred
- Fluent English
Contract Details:
- Full-time, 100% workload
- Initial 3-month contract, with potential extension to lead execution
- Hybrid – office + remote
