Our client, a global asset manager, is seeking an Associate to support its Credit Finance team. This full-time position offers a hybrid working schedule in New York City.
Responsibilities:
- Record transactions in the general ledger accurately and on time.
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Support accounting and reporting for complex structured credit transactions.
- Review monthly workpapers.
- Assist with financial reporting, variance analysis, and data requests.
- Partner with internal and deal teams to support reporting initiatives.
- Maintain organized records for audit and compliance.
- Contribute to process improvements and special projects.
Skills Required:
- Experience in operations, middle office, or accounting within financial services or asset management preferred.
- Strong understanding of general ledger systems, reconciliations, and month-end close.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams.
