Application Manager – Platform

One of our most exciting clients, a public institution, is looking for a Platform Application Manager – focused on delivering and continuously improving digital services for a wide range of users. You’ll contribute to the development and operation of modern application platforms using DevOps practices and container technologies.
Responsibilities
- Plan, lead, and deliver changes and sub-projects on digital platform solutions
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather and implement business requirements
- Take ownership of complex application platforms – Kubernetes, middleware, API management
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams of internal and external experts
- Define priorities, ensure quality delivery, and manage resources and budgets
- Support governance structures and drive continuous improvement
Profile
- Degree in IT or equivalent technical education
- Several years of experience with Kubernetes and platform management
- Experience working in agile environments, including team coordination or leadership
- Solid understanding distributed systems, and modern architectures
- Strong analytical skills and a structured, solution-oriented approach
- Fluent in German and English
