Senior Database Developer
We’re looking for a Senior Database Developer to join a growing technology team responsible for building and optimizing the database systems that power critical business applications.
In this role, you’ll work closely with developers, database administrators, and business stakeholders to design and improve database solutions that are scalable, secure, and high-performing. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex data challenges and driving best practices in database development.
What You’ll Do

Develop and maintain stored procedures, triggers, functions, and other database objects

Optimize database performance and troubleshoot slow-running queries

Analyze execution plans and implement indexing and tuning strategies

Partner with developers and DBAs to support application performance and reliability

Participate in change management and provide guidance on database updates

Investigate and resolve complex production issues, including root cause analysis

Promote SQL development standards and secure coding practices

Document database architecture, schemas, and workflows
-
Mentor other developers and contribute to code reviews and technical improvements

Stay current with cloud database technologies and industry trends
What We’re Looking For

7+ years of experience as a Database Developer or similar role
-
Strong experience with Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL
-
Solid understanding of relational database design and performance tuning
-
Experience working with Linux and Windows environments
-
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
-
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
Nice to Have

Experience with AWS RDS or Azure database services
-
Exposure to regulated or data-sensitive industries

Experience working with global teams
