Senior Technical Claims Specialist – General Liability
A highly experienced claims professional responsible for the investigation, evaluation, and resolution of complex general liability claims, including high-exposure bodily injury, premises liability, and products liability matters. This role manages claims from first notice through resolution, ensuring accurate coverage determinations, effective litigation management, and timely claim disposition.
Key Responsibilities

Handle a portfolio of complex and high-severity general liability claims, including litigated matters and claims with significant financial exposure.

Conduct detailed coverage analysis and evaluate liability, damages, and exposure to establish appropriate reserving strategies.

Manage litigation by partnering with defense counsel, reviewing legal strategy, and guiding claims toward favorable outcomes through negotiation, mediation, or trial preparation.

Collaborate with underwriting, risk management, and internal stakeholders to identify claim trends and mitigate future risk.

Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior adjusters on complex coverage and liability issues.

Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and internal claims best practices while ensuring timely and accurate documentation.

Participate in mediations, settlement negotiations, and strategy discussions for high-value claims.
Background
