Insight Analyst

£45,000 + Excellent Progression Path | London Office (Fully Flexible, Only 1 Day/Month Expected at a Maximum)

Are you someone who loves digging into numbers and knows how to communicate a clear story from the data? Do you enjoy finding insights, spotting trends, and turning analysis into something meaningful for clients? If so, this role offers an ideal blend of analytical depth, creativity, and client impact.

About the Role

We’re hiring an Insight Analyst to join a 15-20-person banking analytics team supporting major UK banking clients. You’ll focus on helping clients understand performance through benchmarking and insight generation. Your strength will be taking data, interpreting what it means, and communicating it clearly and persuasively.

You don’t need prior experience in mortgages, savings, or banking products – what matters most is your ability to think critically, tell a story with data, and maintain excellent attention to detail.

What You’ll Do

  • Analyse benchmarking data and transform findings into clear, actionable insights.
  • Build structured, compelling narratives for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Use Microsoft Office (plus some bespoke variations) to produce reports, presentations, and client materials.
  • Work with major UK banking clients, providing consistent, high-quality insight.
  • Collaborate with a friendly, “geeky-with-numbers but great communicators” team who love curiosity and an inquisitive mindset.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to translate numbers into meaningful stories and clear communication.
  • Naturally inquisitive, curious, and eager to explore “why” behind data trends.
  • Confident working with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Backgrounds that work well here include market research, consultancy, insight/analytics roles, or any environment requiring structured thinking and client communication.

Progression & Development

This company is known for hiring people with potential and growing them into more senior roles. There’s a structured, transparent progression pathway that rewards those who show initiative, curiosity, and the ability to support the wider business.

Flexibility

  • Fully flexible working: some people use the London office daily; others rarely go in.
  • Expected to attend once a month, but no rigid rules beyond that.
