A growing insurer, seeking a Senior / Manager of Financial Reporting. This role sits at the center of financial reporting, supporting both GAAP and statutory deliverables.

This role sits at the center of financial reporting, supporting both GAAP and statutory deliverables while partnering closely with FP&A, actuarial, and investment teams.
Key responsibilities

Lead the preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial statements under US GAAP

Support statutory reporting, including NAIC filings and state regulatory requirements

Partner with actuarial teams on reserves, DAC, and other insurance-specific balances

Collaborate with investment accounting on reporting for a diversified asset portfolio

Manage external audit relationships and support audit deliverables

Drive process improvements, automation, and enhanced controls across reporting cycles

Assist with technical accounting research and implementation of new standards

Mentor junior team members
What we’re looking for

4-8+ years of experience in accounting or financial reporting

Background in insurance, or strong exposure to insurance clients (Big 4 or industry)

Understanding of US GAAP; statutory accounting (SAP) experience is a plus

CPA strongly preferred

Experience working with auditors and complex reporting environments

Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
