Syndicate Accountant (12-Month FTC) – Strong view to extend/permanency – Hybrid – Dublin
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare quarterly financial statements.
- Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support regulatory returns, management reporting, and UK GAAP statutory accounts (FRS 102/103)
- Conduct financial analysis and contribute to reporting disclosures.
- Improve reporting processes and calculations.
- Build relationships with stakeholders (underwriters, actuaries, auditors).
- Deliver ad hoc reporting, support projects, and review junior team output.
Key Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent).
- Strong IFRS and UK GAAP knowledge (FRS 102/103).
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Insurance or syndicate accounting experience (desirable).
EU/ Irish citizenship or Spousal 1G/ Stamp 4 can be considered.
