Title: Data Integration Engineer

Location: Raleigh, NC (Hybrid)

Salary: $140,000 – $145,000

*US Citizenship or Green Card Required*

A growing enterprise technology team is looking for a Data Integration Engineer to help build and support modern data movement and application integration capabilities across a cloud-first environment.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across systems, solving integration challenges, and building scalable, secure, and reliable pipelines that connect data, applications, and business processes.

You’ll work closely with engineering, architecture, analytics, and application teams to support cloud modernization efforts and improve how data flows across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based data integration pipelines and workflows
  • Build and support integrations across internal platforms, external applications, APIs, and data systems
  • Develop scalable ingestion and transformation processes using modern cloud technologies
  • Partner with technical and business stakeholders to translate requirements into integration solutions
  • Improve data reliability, quality, performance, and operational efficiency across integration workflows
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipelines and connected systems
  • Contribute to reusable frameworks, documentation, standards, and best practices
  • Support enterprise initiatives related to cloud migration, data modernization, and platform integration
  • Help maintain secure and well-governed data movement practices in a regulated environment

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in data integration, data engineering, or related engineering work
  • Strong experience building integrations in AWS
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as:
    • Lambda
    • S3
    • API Gateway
    • SNS / SQS
    • EventBridge
    • Glue
    • RDS
    • DMS
    • Step Functions
  • Experience working with Snowflake for ingestion, transformation, and pipeline orchestration
  • Experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) or similar cloud integration tools
  • Strong SQL and data transformation skills
  • Experience with CI/CD and deployment workflows such as GitHub Actions, GitLab, or AWS CodePipeline
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical teams

Nice to Have

  • Experience integrating with enterprise SaaS platforms such as Salesforce, Workday, or ServiceNow
  • Familiarity with secure data handling, governance, and auditability in regulated environments
  • Exposure to event-driven architecture and real-time data movement patterns
  • Experience creating reusable integration templates or operational frameworks
