- Manage declaratory judgment and recovery actions tied to CGL and construction defect claims, including affirmative DJ actions initiated by the company
- Collaborate with adjusters and senior leadership (manager through SVP) to deliver coverage analysis and review coverage position letters for optimal claim outcomes
- Evaluate time-limited demands, guide response strategies, and address allegations of unfair claims practices
- Partner with underwriting teams and contribute to overall claim strategy decisions
- Ensure claim strategies are appropriate, timely, and supported by thorough coverage analysis
- Oversee assignment of qualified coverage counsel and help drive effective litigation management strategies
- Work closely with underwriting and risk engineering teams to provide insight on policy language and claim evaluations
