Automation Test Lead – Dublin (Hybrid)

We’re hiring an Automation Test Lead for a senior hands-on role within a large-scale technology delivery environment.
This role sits across multiple concurrent projects in both Agile and Waterfall delivery models, with a strong focus on automation-first testing strategy, framework design, and quality governance.
MUST-HAVE EXPERIENCE
Candidates must have proven experience in:
- Leading automation across multiple teams or projects
- Building and maintaining UI and API automation frameworks (C#/.NET essential)
- Working with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
- Driving test governance, strategy, and reporting at programme or portfolio level
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate multiple test teams across concurrent delivery streams
- Define and implement automation-first test strategy and framework approach
- Design and maintain UI and API automation frameworks (C#/.NET focused)
- Work with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and BDD practices
- Drive test standards, governance, reporting, and quality assurance across the portfolio
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders, product owners, and delivery teams
- Support both strategic test leadership and hands-on automation delivery when required
What we’re looking for
- Strong background as an Automation Test Lead or Senior QA Automation Engineer stepping into leadership
- Strong C# / .NET automation experience
- API and UI automation experience (Selenium, Playwright or similar)
- Azure DevOps CI/CD exposure
- Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery experience
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership capability
