A hiring manager is seeking an SAP Security Specialist to provide immediate support on an initial 6-month engagement, with a strong likelihood of extension. The need is driven by shifting project timelines and a requirement for hands-on support across SAP security, authorisations, and access governance within an ECC environment.
This role centres on authorisations, access control, audit readiness, and system support. There is no GRC tool in place, so all access governance and change control is managed manually through reporting and process discipline. The successful person will take ownership of ensuring proper access requests, approvals, and record-keeping via line management.
The team is small and requires someone who can step in quickly with practical SAP security experience. While the core landscape is ECC, exposure to S/4HANA and GRC would be beneficial.

- Comfortable operating without automated GRC tooling
- EU/Stamp 4 work eligibility
- Hands-on SAP Security specialist comfortable managing authorisations end-to-end
- Experience in environments where governance is manual rather than tool-driven
- Background in SAP system support and audit preparation
