A leading private equity firm is seeking a Senior Director of Finance to oversee the financial operations of a newly launched infrastructure fund. This is a high-impact, in-office role reporting directly to the CFO, offering significant ownership from day one. Base compensation ranges from $200,000 to $350,000 with a meaningful performance bonus.
Responsibliities:
- Monitor loan covenants and manage all lender-facing compliance reporting, staying ahead of potential issues through ongoing financial modeling
- Prepare quarterly and annual fund financial statements and investor reports in collaboration with external administrators and auditors
- Coordinate with outside tax advisors on partnership returns, K-1s, and state filings, ensuring proper treatment across all investor categories
- Build and maintain cash flow models, track distributions, and calculate IRR to support strategic decision-making at the leadership level
- Design and implement internal controls, reporting tools, and process improvements that allow the finance function to grow with the platform
- Act as the primary liaison for investors, lenders, auditors, and regulators; prepare board materials and present fund updates to senior leadership
- Support and develop junior team members, helping build a high-accountability finance culture
Qualificaitons:
- 10-15 years in finance, with at least 5 years in private credit, debt funds, or private equity
- Experience managing fund-level reporting, debt compliance, and tax coordination
- Strong communicator, comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and external partners
- Highly organized and self-directed with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Detail-oriented team player with a genuine sense of ownership
