About the Job

My client, a leading enterprise operating in a regulated industry, is looking to hire a Principal Solution Architect to join their technology leadership team. This position is fully remote and offers significant exposure to large-scale automation, AI integration, and enterprise architecture transformation.

Important Note: Candidates must be based in the United States. Please note this role is not open to applicants located in California or New York.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and deliver end-to-end automation solutions in production environments across complex enterprise systems.
  • Design and integrate AI/ML solutions including LLM-based document processing and agentic workflows.
  • Lead hybrid cloud architecture initiatives across AWS and Azure, ensuring scalability, compliance, and performance.
  • Drive API design, event-driven system architecture, and enterprise integration across iPaaS and messaging platforms.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to translate complex operational needs into scalable, maintainable solutions.
  • Oversee intelligent document processing systems and unstructured data pipelines at scale.
  • Implement AI governance, observability, and model evaluation frameworks across the enterprise.
  • Collaborate with Managed Service Providers and vendor-driven delivery models to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, systems integration, or enterprise architecture.
  • 3+ years in a Solution Architect or Lead Architect role delivering enterprise-scale systems.
  • Hands-on experience with RPA platforms such as UiPath or Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Strong experience with hybrid cloud architectures and enterprise system integration.
  • Deep expertise in API design, event-driven systems, and integration technologies.
  • Experience working within regulated industries such as insurance, financial services, or healthcare.
  • Familiarity with LLM orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or Semantic Kernel preferred.
  • Cloud architecture certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Professional or Azure Solutions Architect Expert a strong advantage.
  • UiPath and/or Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect certifications a plus.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Compensation: $140,000 – $170,000 + Bonus
