Capital Actuary – P&C

A leading international insurance business is looking to hire a Capital Actuary to join its European actuarial function bases in Luxembourg.
This opportunity offers exposure to capital modelling, regulatory reporting, internal model validation, and solvency analysis within a complex commercial insurance environment. The successful candidate will work closely with actuarial, finance, risk, and underwriting teams across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support regulatory and capital reporting processes
- Assist with internal model validation and documentation
- Contribute to capital assessment and solvency analysis
- Work with cross-functional teams on actuarial and risk projects
- Support process improvement and analytical initiatives
Requirements
- 3 to 4 years’ experience in non- life with an exposure of Solvency 2 and internal Capital Modelling
- Progress toward an actuarial qualification or equivalent quantitative background
- Experience or understanding of capital modelling or solvency regulation
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Fluent English
- Advanced Excel skills; exposure to Python, R, SQL, or Power BI beneficial
