Director of Financial Reporting
We’re working with a growing financial services company looking to hire a Director of Financial Reporting to lead a small team and oversee accounting and financial reporting activities.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys improving processes, working closely with leadership, and being involved in both day-to-day reporting and bigger business initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage monthly and quarterly financial reporting processes
- Review reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements
- Analyze financial results and explain key variances
- Partner with leadership, auditors, and internal teams
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team
- Help improve reporting processes and internal controls
- Support finance projects and new business initiatives
Requirements
- CPA or similar accounting qualification preferred
- 10+ years of accounting or financial reporting experience
- Leadership or team management experience
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting processes
- Ability to work in a fast-moving environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Advanced Excel and ERP system experience preferred
