Our client, a renowned firm specializing in Consulting and Advisory Services within the finance sector, is seeking to expand their capable team by hiring diligent and expert Accountants. This is a permanent position based in their finance department.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee daily operations of the accounting department including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger.
  • Conduct statutory, regulatory, and financial reporting in compliance with GAAP and IFRS standards.
  • Engage in Corporate Finance activities including financial planning, analysis, budget reporting, and expense reporting.
  • Handle specialized reporting tasks such as Life Insurance, Property & Casualty, and General Insurance Solvency II reporting.
  • Participate in finance change projects, ensuring efficient and effective implementation of new financial systems and processes.
  • Prepare reports on Electronic Balance Sheets, Investment Reporting, Fund Accounting, and Consolidations.
  • Work collaboratively across departments to support budget reporting for Technology, Logistics, Projects, and Sales.

Key Skills

  • Profound knowledge in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger Bookkeeping, and Payroll management.
  • Expertise in GAAP, IFRS, and statutory reporting including familiarity with practice specific regulations such as NAIC for Life Insurance.
  • Strong ability in handling Treasury functions, both front office and back office operations.
  • Experience in regulatory reporting, economic capital management, and European embedded value reporting.
  • Competence in management information reporting and detailed financial analysis.
  • Proficient in using financial software and tools for streamlined finance operations and reporting.
