NEW LEGAL OPPORTUNITY: Assistant General Counsel – Corporate / Commercial Contracts
A global insurance organization is seeking a corporate attorney to support a range of commercial and operational legal matters. The role will focus on contract review and negotiation, corporate legal support, and advising internal stakeholders on various business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:

Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and vendor agreements

Support corporate legal matters and transactions

Provide guidance on privacy, data protection, and emerging technology matters

Review marketing and communications materials from a legal perspective

Assist with employment-related legal matters as needed

Support general corporate governance and compliance initiatives
Qualifications:

MUST HAVE 4+ years of corporate or commercial legal experience

MUST BE a member of the New York State Bar

MUST HAVE experience drafting and negotiating business contracts

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
-
Insurance industry experience is a plus
Benefits:
- Salary: $180,000 – $225,000, plus wider benefits.
