Title: Business Continuity Manager
Location: Jersey City, NJ – Hybrid, 3 days onsite

Base Salary Range DOE: $170-$200k, plus Annual Bonus

A leading Insurance organization is seeking an Business Continuity Manager, where you’ll help shape the future of business continuity and operational resilience across a diverse, global enterprise. This is a strategic opportunity to build, influence, and strengthen the firm’s resiliency framework; ensuring business operations can adapt, respond, and thrive in an ever-evolving landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior business and technology leaders to design and implement enterprise-wide resiliency strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and regulatory standards.
- Develop and evolve Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and Incident Management frameworks, creating adaptable, risk-informed playbooks tailored to modern cloud, SaaS, and hybrid environments.
- Lead resiliency exercises and simulations, identifying improvement opportunities and ensuring lessons learned are embedded into strategic plans.
- Guide cross-functional teams through the creation of new continuity plans, emphasizing collaboration, education, and long-term risk mitigation.
- Establish and maintain governance structures, policies, and metrics that ensure adherence to enterprise standards and regulatory expectations.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business unit leaders, elevating operational resilience to a strategic priority rather than a reactive process.
Skilled Needed:
- 10+ years of experience in Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Incident Management, or Resiliency Planning, ideally within financial services or similarly regulated industries.
- Proven people management experience, leading a small team of Business Continuity Analysts.
- Strong background in leading new program development, from strategy and design to implementation and optimization.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to influence executives and cross-functional partners with clarity and credibility.
- Experience leveraging resiliency tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Archer, Everbridge) to drive insights and enhance reporting.
- Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure, SaaS ecosystems, and hybrid architectures, and how they underpin critical business processes.
- CBCP and/or PMP certification preferred.
