Commercial Auto Rep (Property)

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of commercial auto property damage claims from FNOL through closure

  • Investigate, evaluate, and resolve claims involving liability, damages, and coverage analysis

  • Conduct thorough claim investigations including reviewing police reports, statements, and loss documentation

  • Determine liability and negotiate settlements with claimants, vendors, and third parties

  • Communicate effectively with insureds, claimants, attorneys, and internal stakeholders

  • Maintain accurate and timely claim documentation in accordance with regulatory and internal standards

  • Collaborate with underwriting, legal, and SIU teams as needed

  • Ensure compliance with state regulations and company best practices


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience handling commercial auto property damage claims

  • Strong understanding of liability determination and coverage analysis

  • Experience managing claims across multiple jurisdictions is a plus

  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills

  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficiency with claims management systems (Guidewire or similar preferred)


Preferred Experience

  • Exposure to complex or litigated commercial auto claims

  • Experience working within a carrier environment (as opposed to TPA-only)

  • Familiarity with trucking, transportation, or fleet risks
