The Role: Product Compliance Analyst – Commercial Insurance
The Product Compliace Analyst supports the development, maintenance, and regulatory compliance of commercial insurance products. You’ll help draft policy forms, assist with filings, research competitor products, and ensure product updates meet regulatory requirements. This role is perfect for someone early in their insurance product career who wants structured mentorship and growth.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in drafting policy forms, endorsements, and state-specific amendments

Support product development projects by tracking timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional tasks

Research competitor offerings and prepare basic product comparisons

Assist with preparing and submitting form, rate, and rule filings through SERFF

Help draft responses to objections and follow up with state insurance departments

Review ISO/NCCI circular bulletins and help implement required changes

Conduct research on state regulations and summarize compliance requirements

Support implementation of new forms, updates, and rating changes

Contribute to team documentation, process improvements, and training materials
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Business, Risk Management, or related field

1-3 years of experience in commercial insurance (product, underwriting, compliance, or filings experience preferred)

Exposure to drafting or reviewing insurance forms is helpful but not required

Familiarity with SERFF, ISO/NCCI tools, or regulatory research platforms

Strong writing, analytical, and organizational skills

Interest in developing expertise in commercial product development and regulatory compliance
