Job Summary / Introduction

The Compliance Analyst supports the organization in meeting regulatory obligations by conducting form, marketing and rate filings, monitoring regulatory changes and performing detailed research. This role also assists with annual filings, responds to consumer complaints, manages compliance documentation and supports training programs. The position helps maintain regulatory transparency while supporting business operations in an evolving regulatory environment.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or two to four years of relevant insurance industry experience
  • Knowledge of state and federal insurance regulations, especially related to forms, marketing and rates
  • Strong research, analytical and problem solving ability
  • Understanding of life and health insurance products preferred
  • High level of integrity and professionalism
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

  • Prepare and submit filings to regulatory authorities
  • Ensure accuracy and timely submission in compliance with state and federal requirements
  • Maintain awareness of state specific rules and updates
  • Monitor regulatory changes and industry trends
  • Conduct research and provide assessments regarding business impact
  • Support proactive regulatory change management by tracking updates from regulators and legislative sources
  • Investigate and resolve consumer complaints in accordance with regulations
  • Track complaint trends and escalate issues when necessary
  • Communicate findings to internal stakeholders
  • Work with internal teams to implement updated or newly approved forms
  • Ensure form usage aligns with regulatory standards
  • Support the development and administration of compliance training programs
  • Track completion of required training and maintain accurate records
  • Identify areas needing additional training
  • Assist with annual regulatory filings
  • Support internal teams with compliance related questions
  • Help respond to regulatory inquiries, participate in internal reviews and assist with regulatory examinations
  • Prepare reports and reference materials related to regulatory requirements and business processes
