Compliance Manager, P&C Insurance
Position Overview:
The Compliance Manager, P&C Insurance will take charge of the development and management of new insurance products. This role involves both strategic and technical responsibilities, ensuring that products are built to meet market needs, comply with state regulations, and align with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate product filings to ensure compliance with state regulations and respond to inquiries.
- Provide product requirements to tech teams for integration into systems, ensuring accuracy pre- and post-launch.
- Oversee creation of new commercial insurance products, including rate setting, coverage, and state compliance.
- Work with Sales, Actuarial, Underwriting, and Claims to align products with business goals and market needs.
- Track key performance indicators and collaborate with teams to ensure data accuracy for program evaluation.
- Share industry insights and best practices with junior staff.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s in Business, Finance, or related field.
- Experience: 5+ years in commercial insurance product management.
- Strong understanding of P&C insurance, particularly in commercial lines.
- Experience with filing processes, including ISO forms and systems like SERFF/IRFS.
- Proficient in using data to drive product strategy.
- Skilled at collaborating with teams across departments.
- Advanced in Microsoft Office and relevant tools.
