Cyber Security Architect

Fully Remote Cyber Architect Opportunity – Daily Rate Contract – 12 Months

Overview

We are partnering with a high-growth Managed Service Provider to appoint an experienced Cyber Security Architect on a 12-month contract. This role is fully remote and will play a key part in designing, implementing, and enhancing security architectures across a diverse client portfolio.

You’ll be working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment, helping organisations strengthen their security posture while aligning with modern frameworks and regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement end-to-end security architectures across cloud, network, and hybrid environments
  • Provide architectural guidance across multiple client engagements
  • Lead security design reviews, threat modelling, and risk assessments
  • Define and enforce security standards, policies, and best practices
  • Work closely with SOC, engineering, and DevOps teams to embed security into delivery pipelines
  • Support pre-sales activities, including solution design and client workshops
  • Ensure alignment with industry frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, Zero Trust)
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to internal teams

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Cyber Security Architect (ideally within an MSP or consultancy environment)
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
  • Deep understanding of security architecture principles (Zero Trust, IAM, network segmentation)
  • Experience with SIEM/SOC environments (e.g., Sentinel, QRadar, Splunk)
  • Solid background in risk management, governance, and compliance frameworks
  • Strong stakeholder management and client-facing experience
  • Ability to operate autonomously in a fully remote setup

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in regulated environments (Financial Services, Healthcare, etc.)
  • Certifications such as CISSP, SABSA, TOGAF, or CCSP
  • Exposure to DevSecOps and secure software development practices
