Distribution Business Analyst

We are seeking a hands-on, experienced professional to support our client’s biggest transformation programme.

This role bridges the gap between Finance/FP&A team and the Agency/Distribution team. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of life insurance distribution channels and agency management, combined with strong communication skills to engage senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the key liaison between Finance/FP&A and Agency/Distribution teams, facilitating collaboration and translating business needs into actionable solutions.
  • Engage directly with senior leadership, including the Chief Agency Officer, Chief Strategy Officer, Senior Directors, and key stakeholders to drive discussions, align priorities, and influence decisions.
  • Lead requirement gathering, documentation (e.g., drafting BRDs/business cases), process mapping, and solution design
  • Support business case development, scenario modelling, and performance tracking to help the agency business drive revenue growth and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in life insurance distribution channels and agency management
  • Proven track record in life insurance environment – understanding how to drive revenue growth through distribution strategies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills – able to lead conversations with C-level executives and senior directors, while bridging finance and agency perspectives.
  • Understanding of FP&A processes (budgeting, forecasting, reporting, analytic) and ability to connect financial metrics to distribution drivers
  • Fluency in English and Cantonese to bridge Group and Local BUs
