Oliver James are excited to be recruiting for an entry-level Risk Analyst to join our client withing the insurance market. Reporting to the Head of Risk, this role offers an special opportunity for someone looking to kick start their career in risk management. You will be able to play a key role in developing and maintaining risk management activities.
This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys analysing information and is confident engaging with colleagues across the business.
Main Responsibilities:

Maintain risk registers.

Support the improvement of the risk management system, acting as the first point of contact.

Co-ordinate quarterly risk and control assessments including organising meetings, updating the system and gathering information.

Collect, analyse and report on risk and control data.

Assist in producing the quarterly risk report.

Support the risk events process by ensuring events are recorded, assessed and followed up with relevant business owners.

Support the risk team with thematic reviews and assurance activities as part of the second line assurance framework.

Contribute to the identification of emerging risks.
