Finance Systems Support Engineer – Permanent
Location: Dublin – weekly on-site presence required
Client: Global Financial Services Firm
We’re hiring on behalf of a leading financial services client in Dublin for a Senior Finance Systems Engineer to join their Finance Systems team. This is a key technical role supporting financial applications, with a strong focus on SAP Concur and other core finance systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on support for SAP Concur and other financial applications.
- Act as a key liaison between Finance, IT, and third-party vendors.
- Support system upgrades, enhancements, and testing activities.
- Identify and implement process improvements through automation and system optimisation.
- Deliver user training and documentation across finance platforms.
- Ensure reliable and efficient operations of finance systems.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong experience with SAP Concur (essential).
- Background in Finance, Accounting, or IT (degree or equivalent experience).
- Solid understanding of finance operations, including month-end close and consolidation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced); VBA is a plus.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion, GTreasury, or similar systems is a plus.
- SQL knowledge is beneficial.
