The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in firewalls, enterprise-wide information security integration, and hands-on experience operating in complex, legacy environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and govern enterprise firewall solutions across on-prem and legacy infrastructure
- Lead network and infrastructure protection initiatives, embedding security by design
- Define and maintain firewall architecture standards, patterns, and governance
- Ensure information security controls are consistently incorporated across enterprise infrastructure deployments
- Provide architectural oversight for firewall rule design, segmentation, and threat prevention
- Work closely with infrastructure and networking teams, acting as the security authority within delivery programs
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a Firewall Architect or senior firewall design role
- Strong background in legacy and on-prem enterprise infrastructure environments
- Extensive hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls
- Palo Alto/ PaloAlto certification (e.g. PCNSE) is highly desirable
- Demonstrated experience embedding information security across enterprise networks and infrastructure
- Strong understanding of network security architecture, segmentation, and threat prevention
- Ability to work autonomously on security matters within infrastructure-led teams
