New FULLY REMOTE Job Opportunity: Product Counsel – 1st Party Property – Insurance P&C Sector
We are proud to represent our esteemed client, a leading institution in the Insurance industry, in their search for an experienced Product Counsel specializing in Property where you will directly report to the Deputy General Counsel. In this role you will be joining a fast growing, dynamic business, who are in the midst of building out a legal and product function, creating brand new products and getting them out to market. You will have the opportunity to report to the Deputy General Counsel and work alongside a highly impressive legal team that boast an incredible and supportive work environment.
Role & Responsibilities:
- You will have the opportunity to report to the Deputy General Counsel on building out a legal and product function, creating brand new products and getting them out to market.
- Engage in the full product life cycle of P&C insurance products, drafting products from scratch included.
- Handle wordings and development surrounding brand new 1st party property, inland marine, and auto insurance products where your name will be on most everything you work on, as you will create several insurance products from scratch.
Qualifications:
- MUST HAVE: Juris doctor and active license within USA
- MUST HAVE: Experience drafting insurance products from scratch
- MUST HAVE: Insurance-industry experience (whether from practice or industry)
- 3-6 years of true, insurance P&C products experience, preferably in the 1st party property, inland marine and auto spaces.
- Full product life cycle and drafting experience required.
