Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Investment Data & Performance Lead to drive the end-to-end delivery of a cutting-edge investment performance and attribution reporting capability. This role is instrumental in enabling actionable insights to improve investment decision-making across a global organization.

Key Responsibilities

As the Investment Data & Performance Lead, you will:

  • Lead the delivery of a strategic solution to enable consistent, granular performance attribution reporting across multiple business units and investment teams.
  • Oversee the cutover of existing performance reporting processes to the new data and reporting platform, ensuring seamless integration and data accuracy.
  • Own and manage the overall project plan, coordinating activities and dependencies across vendors, technology teams, and key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with senior investment and finance stakeholders to gather, document, and validate functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Validate solution designs with external vendors and internal teams, ensuring compatibility with existing tools and data sources.
  • Design and document future-state processes and controls, clearly defining roles, responsibilities, and governance structures.
  • Oversee testing, including vendor-led validation and business user acceptance, to ensure accuracy, completeness, and readiness for go-live.
  • Manage risks, issues, and dependencies proactively, escalating where necessary and ensuring timely resolution to keep delivery on track.
  • Support change management, including the creation of training materials, communications, and transition plans to ensure smooth adoption of the solution.

Key Deliverables:

  • Delivery of an investment performance reporting solution that provides accurate, reliable, and actionable insights for investment decision-making.
  • Comprehensive project governance, with timely reporting, escalation, and resolution of risks and issues.
  • Future-state processes and controls fully documented and endorsed by stakeholders.
  • Business readiness achieved through effective training, communication, and transition management.
  • Successful completion of solution testing and validation, ensuring high-quality performance attribution outputs.
  • Alignment with strategic objectives, delivering measurable improvements in decision-making and operational efficiency.

Core Expertise that we are looking:

  • Extensive knowledge of investment management, ideally within the insurance or asset management sectors.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in project management and business analysis roles, preferably in financial services.
  • Proven success in delivering complex solutions involving multiple stakeholders and vendors.
  • Familiarity with investment performance and attribution concepts, tools, and workflows.
