IT Business Analyst – Modern Workplace

Our client, a leading professional services organisation based in Dublin City, has transitioned to a modern Microsoft-based Digital Workplace environment and critical content management platform. They are now seeking a Modern Workplace Business Analyst to support the delivery, enhancement, and governance of Microsoft solutions across automation, analytics, and AI.
About the Role
Reporting to the Enterprise Architect, this role is focused on improving business productivity through technology. The successful candidate will combine strong business analysis expertise with practical experience in Microsoft 365 and the Power Platform ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Stakeholder Engagement

Build strong, collaborative partnerships across business units.

Lead workshops and conduct user interviews to assess requirements, identify challenges, and map current processes.

Ensure clear communication of priorities, timelines, and updates.
Process & Solution Improvement

Identify and drive Modern Workplace initiatives leveraging Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Power Apps, Copilot for M365, and related Microsoft Cloud technologies.

Develop proof-of-concept or prototype solutions using low-code/no-code tools where appropriate.
Solution Design & Delivery

Produce clear, structured functional design documentation.

Support testing, release management, and change management throughout the project lifecycle.
Project & Pipeline Management

Manage a pipeline of automation, workflow, low-code, and AI-enabled initiatives.

Define scope, timelines, resource requirements, and risk management plans.

Provide clear and consistent project status updates.
Continuous Improvement

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Microsoft 365 roadmap and emerging Modern Workplace technologies.
Skills & Experience

3-5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst within a Digital Workplace or modern applications environment.

Strong experience in process analysis, requirements gathering, and stakeholder engagement.

Proven experience with Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Power Apps, and Copilot for M365.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies, product lifecycle management, and backlog management.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organisational levels.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a small, agile team environment.
