Junior / Medior Full-Stack Developer (Java / Angular / GitLab CI)
Location: Namur (Hybrid: 2-3 days on-site)
The Mission
We are looking for a versatile Junior Full-Stack Developer to join an engineering team in the heart of Namur. We don’t just want a coder; we’re looking for a “builder” who understands that great software isn’t just about the features-it’s about how they are delivered.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between backend logic (Java/Spring Boot), sleek user interfaces (Angular), and modern automation (GitLab CI). You’ll work in a collaborative environment where your ideas are heard, and your growth is prioritized.
What You’ll Do
- Full-Stack Development: Build and maintain end-to-end features, from RESTful APIs in Java to reactive frontends in Angular.
- Own the Pipeline: Take an active role in our GitLab CI workflows. You won’t just wait for a build to finish; you’ll help optimize it.
- Modernize & Automate: Help us maintain high code quality through automated testing and continuous integration.
- Collaborate in Namur: Work closely with the team during our on-site days to brainstorm, pair-program, and refine our architecture.
- Learn & Grow: Stay at the forefront of the stack with time dedicated to learning new tools and best practices.
Your Technical Toolkit
- The Backend: Solid foundations in Java. If you’ve dabbled in Spring Boot, you’re already ahead.
- The Frontend: Experience with Angular (TypeScript). You understand components, services, and how to make things look good.
- The “Secret Sauce”: A genuine interest in DevOps. You know your way around Git, and the idea of automating deployments with GitLab CI excites you.
- The Basics: Familiarity with relational databases (SQL) and an understanding of what makes a “clean” API.
The Ideal Profile
- Local & Flexible: You enjoy the energy of the office in Namur 2 or 3 days a week but appreciate the focus time of working from home.
- Curious by Nature: You’re the type of person who asks “Why?” when a pipeline fails and “How?” when a feature feels sluggish.
- Communicator: You can explain your technical choices clearly, whether in person or over a Slack call.
What’s in it for You?
- Hybrid Work: The perfect balance of 2-3 days in our Namur office and the rest from your home setup.
- End-to-End Ownership: The rare chance for a junior to touch the full lifecycle, including the DevOps side.
- Team Vibe: A professional yet relaxed atmosphere where we take our work seriously, but not ourselves.
