Senior French Lawyer (5-7 Years’ Experience in-house or law firm background)
9-Month Contract – Starting April 15th to replace a mat leave – potentially extendable
Location: Paris Office-based (4 days per week) – Friday optional remote
We are currently partnering with a leading international insurance group seeking a Senior French Lawyer to join their team on a 9-month contract.
Key Responsibilities:

Drafting and reviewing insurance products, primarily across commercial lines (including financial lines and consumer lines)

Providing legal support to Underwriters on product and corporate matters

Reviewing and advising on marketing documentation

Supporting Corporate and Underwriting-related legal topics
The role will be conducted predominantly in French (approximately 85%), with the remainder in English.
Profile:

5-7 years experience as a qualified French Lawyer

Background in a law firm or in-house environment, ideally within the insurance sector

Strong technical expertise in insurance product drafting and review

Experience working closely with underwriting teams

Comfortable operating in a bilingual (French/English) environment
