Manager – Investment Accounting | Insurance
I’m currently partnering with a well-established insurance organization looking to add a Manager, Investment Accounting to their corporate finance team. This individual will play a key role supporting investment accounting, statutory reporting, and analysis of a large investment portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee accounting and reporting for a diverse insurance investment portfolio
* Prepare and review statutory investment schedules and NAIC filings (including AVR/IMR)
* Reconcile investment activity and coordinate with external investment managers and custodians
* Support quarterly close, financial reporting, and investment-related disclosures
* Partner with internal finance, treasury, and investment teams on portfolio analysis and reporting
Ideal Background:
* 4-7+ years of accounting experience
* Insurance industry experience preferred
* Exposure to investment accounting and statutory reporting
* CPA or public accounting background is a plus
