Key Responsibilities

Support the governance and oversight of data used in investment accounting and financial reporting

Monitor data quality and investigate discrepancies across investment systems and the general ledger

Oversee reconciliation processes and ensure timely resolution of data breaks

Help improve and automate reporting and data processes using tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, and Snowflake
-
Maintain documentation around key data processes, controls, and reporting workflows

Partner with internal teams including Finance, Investments, Actuarial, and Technology

Assist with internal and external audit requests related to investment reporting data

Contribute to initiatives focused on process improvement, automation, and reporting enhancements

Review dashboards and reporting outputs to ensure consistency and accuracy

Support and mentor junior team members where appropriate
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field

Approximately 5-8 years of relevant experience in investment accounting, financial reporting, controllership, or financial data management

Experience working with data visualization or automation tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, or Snowflake
-
Familiarity with GAAP and statutory investment reporting within insurance or financial services preferred

Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail

Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across multiple teams

Experience working with financial systems or data platforms is a plus (e.g., Clearwater)
