Operational Resilience Manager (9-month FTC) – Global Insurance Client

We’re looking for an Operational Resilience Manager to join us on a 9-month fixed-term contract and play a key role in strengthening resilience across our global insurance client.

This is a critical role where you’ll work closely with business and operations teams to embed a ‘Resilient by Design’ culture, ensuring risks are identified, managed, and addressed in line with FCA and PRA requirements.

What you’ll be doing

  • Mapping key business services and running end-to-end stress testing.
  • Identifying vulnerabilities and drafting annual self-assessments.
  • Developing and monitoring resilience MI and KRIs.
  • Supporting the design and delivery of continuity and resilience strategies across UK businesses.
  • Leading crisis and incident management processes, training, and testing.
  • Acting as a UK point of contact for crisis management when needed.
  • Helping manage the annual resilience testing programme.

What you’ll bring

  • Proven experience in operational resilience, business continuity, or crisis management.
  • Knowledge of FCA/PRA regulations and resilience best practice.
  • Recent experience in the UK insurance market (within 3 years).
  • Understanding of technical IT and facilities infrastructure.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to prioritise, work flexibly, and deliver clear resilience reporting.
  • PS21-3 knowledge highly desirable
