The Role: Product Manager, Commercial Insurance
This individual will drive product strategy, development, and compliance execution for commercial insurance offerings. You’ll lead cross-functional teams, draft and refine policy forms, oversee regulatory filings, and ensure products meet market demand and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities

Draft insurance policy forms, endorsements, applications, and state-specific amendments

Lead structured product development initiatives with clear project plans and timelines

Partner with business units to refine policy language and rating structures

Research competitor offerings and prepare market comparisons

Prepare and submit form, rate, and rule filings; respond to DOI objections

Review ISO and NCCI circulars and implement required updates

Analyze state and federal insurance regulations to ensure full product compliance

Support rollout and implementation of forms and rates

Provide mentorship and training to junior team members

Contribute to building a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, or related field

2-7 years of experience drafting commercial insurance forms

Strong background in regulatory filing (SERFF, ISO, NCCI, etc.)

Experience with liability lines – Aviation/Aerospace Liability experience is strongly preferred

Proven ability to analyze insurance laws, regulations, and circulars

Project management experience in a cross-functional insurance environment
