A leading insurance carrier is looking to hire an Senior Claims Director, Professional Liability. In this senior technical role, you will be responsible for managing mid to complex professional liability claims (including D&O, E&O, MPL and other PL cases). Along with driving performance of the team, you will be a technical referral point for complex claims, coverage and litigation matters within PL.
Job Requirements.
- 5+ years handling complex professional liability claims (due to the mixed PL caseload we can consider E&O, D&O and other PL claims leadership/technical backgrounds)
- Extensive exposure to litigation and coverage investigation essential – including large loss PL policies
- Experience working closely with Legal/ Claims Counsel and other internal / external teams
- JD Law – preferred but not essential to be considered
This position must be on a hybrid schedule from NYC or CT with an excellent base salary up to $190,000 + 20% annual bonus and other long-term incentives (total compensation circa. $250,000). The role has an excellent route of progression. Please note we cannot consider remote candidates or other offices for this position.
