A leading insurance carrier is looking to hire a Senior Claims Specialist for their General Liability team. In this senior technical role, you will be responsible for handling complex, litigated Construction Defect claims. This will include complex coverage investigation, litigation and relationship management throughout the process.
Responsibilities
- Handles low to mid exposure construction defect losses and litigation
- Handles assigned claims following company guidelines and industry best practices with a minimal amount of supervision
- Assigned claims will often involve coverage interpretation and litigation
- Prepares appropriate coverage letters without supervision
- Manages key business relationships with clients and other professionals
Qualifications
- At least 3-5 years of experience handling construction defect claims
- Experience with litigation and coverage investigation gained within CGL policies
- Strong educational background. Degree and ideally insurance/construction qualifications
This role can be fully remote or hybrid in the following states: TX, CO, TN, NC, FL, LA, OH, OK with a base salary up to $90,000 + annual bonus and benefits package.
