What you’ll be doing:

Lead the preparation and reporting of quarterly financial statements (IFRS), including variance analysis, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and transparency.

Manage the year-end IFRS reporting, including financial disclosures and the coordination of external audits.

Oversee and ensure timely submission of Bermuda-specific regulatory filings, including BSCR (Bermuda Solvency Capital Requirement) and other quarterly financial returns.

Take charge of compliance with Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA) submissions, ensuring adherence to local regulatory standards.

Ensure statutory financial returns are accurately prepared and submitted in line with local and international requirements.

Work closely with investment teams to ensure data integrity and alignment of financial reporting across the business.

Contribute to strategic projects, driving improvements in processes and systems.
Who we’re looking for:

A qualified professional accountant (e.g., CPA, ACA, ACCA) with a minimum of 3 years of experience in financial reporting, ideally within life insurance, reinsurance, or a related industry.

Deep expertise in IFRS, with a focus on insurance contracts and financial instruments, and the ability to navigate complex reporting standards.

A solid understanding of Bermuda-specific regulatory requirements, including experience with BSCR and Bermuda Monetary Authority submissions.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to make sound, data-driven decisions.

Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with financial reporting systems.
