My client, a Boutique Private Equity firm is looking for a Fund Accountant to join their expanding team to handle internal fund accounting. Our client works on a hybrid basis in downtown Chicago, offers competitive compensation, comprehensive health, PTO and retirement benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of financial statements processing investments, and monthly bank reconciliations
- Preparing and supporting quarterly close process
- Assisting with internal financial audit
- Calculating capital calls and distribution
- Interacting with investment teams and preparing investor correspondence when needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, CPA is a plus
- Experience with Private Equity, Private Credit, Venture Capital, or Hedge Funds is necessary
- At least 2-6 years of experience in financial service industry, fund administration, or public accounting firm.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
