Senior .Net & Blazor developer – Brussels – Long-term contract

For a large Belgian organization operating in a complex, mission-critical environment, I am looking for Medior and Senior .NET / Blazor Developers to support the ongoing digitalization of large-scale operational and planning systems.

The role offers stability, technical depth, and continuity, with a hybrid working model and a long-term horizon until at least mid-2028.

Job Description

As a .NET / Blazor Developer, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of business-critical applications in a public transport context.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using .NET / C# and Blazor

• Build and consume REST APIs using .NET Core Web API

• Work with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines

• Apply layered architectures and design patterns

• Collaborate within an experienced development team in a regulated environment

• Ensure code quality through unit testing and SOLID principles

• ORMs: Entity Framework, Linq2SQL, Dapper

• DevOps & tooling: Docker, AKS, Jenkins, YAML

• Visual Studio 2022

Practical Information

• Start date: Ideally 1st of March (ASAP)

• Duration: Long-term mission, at least until mid-2028

• Work mode: Hybrid – 2 days onsite in Belgium

• Recruitment process: One interview round (technical skills & team/cultural fit)

Candidate’s Profile

Required Technical Skills (Non-Negotiable)

• .NET / C#: minimum 5 years of hands-on experience

• Blazor: minimum 5 years of hands-on experience

• Azure DevOps: 8 years of experience

• Strong experience with:

  • MS SQL Server

  • ORMs (Entity Framework, Linq2SQL, Dapper)

• Experience in the public transport or railway sector is a strong asset

Technical Evaluation Criteria

• REST API development using .NET Core Web API

• Strong knowledge of GIT and version control practices

• Experience with:

  • Layered architecture

  • Design patterns (CQRS, Repository, Unit of Work, Command, Singleton)

  • SOLID principles

  • Unit testing best practices

  • Azure PaaS services

  • CI/CD pipelines
