Senior Treaty Underwriter – Property | Zurich
Our client, a leading global reinsurer, is looking for a Senior Treaty Underwriter to join their Zurich team. In this role, you’ll manage international property, energy, and engineering treaties, building strong relationships with key clients and brokers while driving profitable portfolio growth. You’ll collaborate closely with actuarial, claims, and technical teams to ensure a 360° view of the business and stay ahead of market trends.
Key tasks:
- Underwrite and monitor worldwide treaty business, including pricing and contractual assessment
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and global clients
- Collaborate with actuarial, claims, and technical teams for portfolio management
- Monitor market trends, risk exposures, and portfolio performance
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and data integrity
Requirements:
- 5+ years of treaty underwriting experience (energy, global property, or engineering)
- Strong technical skills and confident negotiation abilities
- Proactive, team-oriented mindset with a global perspective
- University degree; relevant professional qualifications (ACII, CPCU, actuarial) a plus
- Willingness to travel up to 20%
