Role and Responsibilities
- Analyse business requirements, source-to-target mappings(STTM), and ETL design documents.
- Design and execute ETL test scripts using PyTest.
- Perform data reconciliation, aggregation and transformation validation using complex SQL queries.
- Perform data load using Informatica PowerCenter & BMC Control-M.
- Monitor, validate and troubleshoot Control-M scheduled jobs, dependencies, and batch execution flows.
- Perform regression testing after ETL changes and enhancements.
- Log, track, and retest defects using tools like Zephyr & JIRA.
- Support UAT and Production data validation, including post-deployment sanity checks.
- Work with Git Version control, performing activities such as branch creation, pulling, pushing , merging code and conflict resolution.
- Closely collaborate with Developers, Business analysts, Data Analysts, and Business stakeholders to clarify requirements, resolve data issues, and ensure alignment with business expectations.
- Ensure compliance with data quality, audit, and governance standards.
