We are seeking an accomplished Vice President of Infrastructure to lead our clients strategic shift from a primarily on-premise and mainframe environment to a modern, cloud-first infrastructure. This role is critical to building a scalable, secure, and resilient technology foundation that will enable innovation and long-term growth.
As hands-on senior leader for Infrastructure, you will define the roadmap, oversee execution, and partner closely with executive leadership to ensure technology investments align with business strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a multi-year infrastructure transformation strategy, moving legacy and mainframe workloads to cloud platforms.
- Lead and mentor global infrastructure teams across data centers, networks, cloud, storage, and end-user computing.
- Establish best practices for cloud governance, security, compliance, and cost management.
- Build strong partnerships with cloud providers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of transformation initiatives.
- Oversee business continuity, disaster recovery, and resilience planning during the transition.
- Drive modernization of infrastructure services to support application agility, data initiatives, and digital business growth.
- Present strategy, progress, and risks to senior executives and the board.
Skilled Needed:
- 15+ years in IT infrastructure leadership, with deep experience modernizing complex, enterprise-scale environments.
- Proven success leading large-scale migrations from on-prem/mainframe to public or hybrid cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong understanding of networking, storage, mainframe operations, cloud-native architectures, and enterprise security.
- Track record of building and leading high-performing global teams.
- Executive presence and excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, etc.) a strong plus.
