As a Managing Consultant in the Oliver James Amsterdam office, I will be responsible for leading the Legal team to deliver high quality Legal talent to our existing (and new) clients across the Netherlands. I have a Master of Law and studied Dutch and International Corporation Law at the University of Amsterdam. This provides me with the unique ability to combine my two years recruitment experience with legal expertise. Everyone in the team also has some form of Legal background, so we will be able to offer deep insight into the Dutch Legal market.
Why have we introduced a Legal offering in the Netherlands?
Oliver James have already built a strong Legal presence in the UK, US, and across Asia, so this combined with the rise in demand for good quality Legal talent across the Netherlands presented the opportunity to have a fully focussed Legal Desk.
OJ Amsterdam already operates a Compliance and KYC desk, but by having another desk that is fully focussed to Legal, it enables us to further support our current client base with their Legal hires, utilise our international presence and Legal expertise, and ultimately support the Netherlands with their high demand for good quality Legal skill sets.
What service will the team provide to the Netherlands Legal market?
We will work with businesses to deliver high-quality Legal talent to the Financial Services industry, particularly in Banking and Insurance, with a focus on Civil and Private Law across temp to contract positions. For example, Legal Counsel, Paralegal, and Claims Handler.
