We are currently hiring for a Business Development Manager based in Tokyo.

To qualify for this role, you must have the following:

• At least 5-yrs experience in handling corporate/agency sales incl. dealing with brokers.
• Strong knowledge in underwriting as well as insurance product development is preferred.
• Deep understanding about the insurance coverage and can present such to internal/external stakeholders.
• Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills to build/keep good relationship with the clients.
• Good analytical skills, business acumen, critical thinking, and self-initiative.
• Excellent language ability in both English and Japanese is a must.
• People management as a manager is also necessary.

Experience in underwriting, claims, marketing and corp. planning is a plus.
