Oliver James is partnered with a leading UK Insurer for a Compliance Technical and Financial Crime Team Leader to support and assist the Head of Compliance in developing and maintaining an effective Compliance function across the organisation.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support on compliance projects. Keep up with regulatory and statutory changes.
  • Collating and updating the Compliance Manual, the Financial Crime Manual and the companies Life Advisers Guide.
  • Updating the breach registers. Oversee regulatory reporting to the FCA. Quarterly Compliance Report to the Audit and Compliance Committee. Provide training on regulatory matters.
  • Oversee financial promotions and training material sign-off. Good knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory compliance requirements (FCA/AML/ICO) and working knowledge of related prudential regulations.

The suitable candidate will have experience in financial services, particularly Life and Pension and working within a Compliance team, ideally in an Insurance firm.
